We are pleased to announce that the GO mirror at EBI is now running an upgraded version of MySQL and has been moved to a different server. It can still be reached at mysql.ebi.ac.uk:4085 and the login credentials remain unchanged.

We hope that these changes will make the service considerably more stable and robust than it has been in the recent past.

Please feel free to give the server a hammering, and report any problems that you might encounter to goa-prod@ebi.ac.uk
