We're pleased to announce the release of AmiGO 1.7, now available on the Gene Ontology website:

AmiGO is a web application offered by the Gene Ontology Consortium (GOC) that allows users to browse the Gene Ontology, view annotations from annotating groups, and analyze GO data using tools such as Term Enrichment and Slimmer.
Highlights of release AmiGO_1.7 include:
*) Annotations made with the IEA (Inferred from Electronic Annotations) evidence code for organisms that are represented by a database group (e.g., MGI, SGD) are now displayed in AmiGO. These annotations have also been incorporated into the various tools (e.g. Slimmer, Term Enrichment) available in AmiGO.
