The Rat Genome Database announces the release of "Anatomy of an Ontology Annotation, part 2"

The Rat Genome Database announces the release of "Anatomy of an Ontology Annotation, part 2", the third video in the Introduction to Biomedical Ontologies tutorial series. This video concentrates on giving relatively novice users insight into what the qualifier, evidence code and "WITH" field components of ontology annotations are used for. It is designed to give researchers an idea of the valuable information that they might be missing if they don't take these components into account when they're using ontology annotations. Once again, the Gene Ontology is used as the primary example because of its widespread use and requisite structure. As with our other tutorials, we hope you'll take a look at this video--if you find it helpful, we invite you to make use of it as an educational aid. The video is available on SciVee (http://www.scivee.tv/node/14306), Vimeo (http://www.vimeo.com/7595868) and YouTube(http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=m1xekOnxn7I).
